Video inspection helps quickly solve sewer line problems

A big part of our business involves opening up clogged sewer lines. Most sewer line blockages are caused by tree roots getting into a cracked line, shifting soil around the sewer line, or extreme changes in temperature. Of course, the age-old favorit — grease buildup — can also cause problems.

It’s not always easy to determine what is causing the blockage or where in the line it’s located. A video inspection can be incredibly helpful! Putting a camera down your sewer line can help us figure out the best solution without tearing up your yard. Neither we nor our customers want any more digging than is necessary to fix the problem. Digging is labor intensive and it disturbs the beauty of your yard for a time. That’s why we try to keep our digging to a minimum.

We use top-of-the-line sewer machines and jetters. The Mongoose Jetter is a beast that can push water up to 4,000 psi (pounds of pressure per square inch) for even long lines up to 600 feet. And we have several backhoes to fit any size project, even those that involve working in tight spaces.

The good news for our customers is that we have more than the technology and equipment you need to unclog a sewer line: we have the experience and judgement to do the job right the first time. Experience counts! Be careful who you let start digging around in your yard.

If you have a slow sewer line, call us. That slowness is a sign that it’s becoming clogged and needs attention. We can take care of it for you quickly, affordably, and professionally.

Call us today to schedule an appointment. We can guarantee you that the problem isn’t going to fix itself, so “make the right call” to The Plumbing Source today!
